Apparcel Uriarte & Vassallo (AUV) has joined Lawyers Cooperation, an international network of independent law firms that offers its members access to shared knowledge and experience. AUV Abogados is the first firm outside of Europe, including all of the Americas, be accepted into the association.

Following best practices, the association promotes fellowship and business among member firms, collaborating with business law experts from across Europe. All new members of the Lawyers Cooperation must be approved and deemed capable of providing high quality service in accordance with the association’s exacting standards.

Lawyers Cooperation members offer a wide range of services in different areas of law, covering mergers and acquisitions, company law, insolvency law, competition law, tax law, property law, and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), among others. Network partners share expertise and know-how to the benefit of clients and other Lawyers Cooperation member firms.

The network’s success is based on mutual trust in the professionalism of each member, Lawyers Cooperation says.

According to María Consuelo Mackenna, Senior Associate and leader of AUV’s corporate area, “we are extremely satisfied and have high expectations with what we can do as the first law firm in the Americas to join Lawyers Cooperation. This significant alliance is an important development for AUV, allowing us to collaborate, share experiences and the best legal practices with some of the best law firms in Europe, to the benefit of the association and our clients.”
